Re: The run in
As part of the run in Man U have to play Liverpool.
The postponed game from the weekend.
I can't see there being a free date until after the season should of finished. But then Man Utd almost certainly will have the Europa Final
Anyone know ?

Re: The run in
daveyg - they're talking of moving Liverpool's game against WBA on 16th May to accommodate it.

Re: The run in
Ah..
I think I might have answered my own question.

WBA v Liverpool gets moved to Wed 12th May.
Man Utd v Liverpool gets moved to Sun 16th May.

Think that works ....

Re: The run in
The run of 5 straight wins in 2005/06 was immediately preceded by a home defeat against Chelsea...

Re: The run in
I keep telling myself not to be fucking stupid and to stop thinking we have a great chance at qualifying for the Champions League next season.

But I think we win 3 from 4 and we're there.

Plus there's the punishment the super leagues teams will get meaning we're gonna qualify anyway (YEAH RIGHT!).

Re: The run in
I think we’ll finish 3rd on 70 points
Chelsea 4th on 67
Leicester 5th on 66

Re: The run in
Thanks for taking the time to post this mate

We would have to lose 3 games for Arsenal to go above us

We win 4 games 70 SEVENTY points

I can see Leicester and Chelsea tripping up

Re: The run in
I can see Leicester only winning 3 more points and dropping out of the top 4. Chelsea will lose to City but win the other three and finish 3rd. I really think we need to win all four to finish 4th, otherwise we'll probably get caught by either Liverpool or Spurs, or both. We can do it.

nychammer 1:30 Wed May 5
Re: The run in
Win all 4 and we are good. Liverpool could catch us if we don't as they have by far the easiest run-in. Still not in our hands but Chelsea will drop points i reckon given they have other obligations and they play Leicester.

Re: The run in
......Leicester, Man City and Arsenal sorry

I’m just loving the fact that a West Ham team with a goal difference of +11 may be a little light. Never thought I’d see that

Romfordboy 9:36 Wed May 5
Re: The run in
The fact Chelsea and Leicester have to play each other is massive in the race

Newcastle on Friday for Leicester is a big game for them

Lato 9:37 Wed May 5
Re: The run in
All 4 games are winnable. However, Brighton are our bogey team we have not beaten them since their return to the Premiership. Whatever happens we have had a fantastic season so let's just enjoy the rest of the ride.

Re: The run in
I think potentially the biggest game is the rearranged Manu v Liverpool one. We really need a Manu win (or at a pinch a draw) in that and whatever way you look at it that is less likely than it would have been if the game had taken place as scheduled.

ironsofcanada 9:52 Wed May 5
Re: The run in
We need to win out and Chelsea or Leicester to lose two games Or Chelsea to lose one and draw one.

(Barring us beating Agent Allardyce's lot 0-15 or something similar)

Tough row to hoe but stranger things have have happened.

We need to win all our games and the teams above us need to draw or lose some. The little ball of blue fluff in my belly button cries out to be cherished in its distress.
